Kargil battle was one of the fierce battles where we got a big win. This was a proud moment for us. There was only one question on tv, "Will India win this war?" because Tiger hill was one of the toughest hills.
Pakistan soldiers were attempting to take away Jammu and Kashmir from us, and hence they had illegally captured Tiger hill. The temperature was very cold. The hill was echoing with sounds of guns and tanks. There were visuals of dead bodies of fellow soldiers.
In all these conditions our brave soldiers gave them a very strong reply for two months and won that place again. If we go to that place and see our flag, we experience the feeling of victory.
Come, let's salute all the soldiers including Captain Vikram Batra who had sacrificed their lives during this war. Also, let's bow down to the mothers of martyrs’ soldiers who gave birth to them. Jai Hind!
